Come to class with all materials (notes, pencil, paper, handouts) and homework. Take responsibility for your own learning. MethodsClass will be taught using as much Spanish as possible, encouraging students to listen and begin to understand the spoken language.
Students will be asked to practice vocabulary and grammar in spoken form through partner dialog, teacher-directed question & answer, and group skits. Worksheets and short essays may be assigned to develop written skills, with an emphasis on spelling and accent marks. Games, individual and group activities, projects, and other forms of assessment will be designed to instill in the students a love for the language and culture as well as enjoyment in the learning process.
